Lake Maninjau is a volcanic Lake, located at an altitude of 461,50 meters above the sea surface with. Area of the Lake is around 99.5 km2 and has a maximum depth of 495 meters, cekungannya is formed due to volcanic eruptions, named Sitinjau (according to lengenda briefly).
